Elaborate Description

Artemis Fowl feels much regret to his prior misdeeds. Regret made him create technology that can help save the world but also give him a disorder. The regret and prior magic use caused Artemis the have Atlantis Complex, which has many compulsions, and in the case of Artemis created a multiple personality. Artemis’s alter ego might have Artemis’s memories but not Artemis’s genius insight. The alter ego takes over at the wrong moment, when space ship lands and releases a probe that heads straight for Atlantis, the second most populated city underground. Without Artemis to understand the situation, Holly and Foaly must warn Atlantis of the danger.

This book follows the previous one in the theme of feelings rather than moral. Trust and respect are built over time which enable the group to take on various perilous situations.
