Review of Blood Meridian: Or the Evening Redness in the West by Cormac McCarthy

Elaborate Description

A story of the wild west. A story of how a kid survived many hardships. The uncertainty, hunts, the racial disparities, and gun fights are all in this book. The way in which the book was written makes it consistent to the time period portrayed. Although it is wonderful to feel a part of history (fictionalized as is), it creates the problem with misunderstanding much of the book as well.
