Elaborate Description

'The Political Order of a Free People' is the most economic based book out of all three volumes. Hayek mentions that in a free-market society competition exists for the discovery process of better products or ways of production, while a government oriented society cannot have a trial-and-error response to new information. Hayek sets out the groundwork for what government should do and when is it okay to use coercive power that government has a monopoly on. An underlying theme is that based on the democracy in its current form, is usually a reference to how the few take advantage of the many by manipulation with various instruments. Some passages are not so easy to read, but the book provides a lot of valuable insights.
